Step 1 - Problem identification 

We start by taking a deep dive into your idea, product or service to understand the design challenges at hand. We look at what is happening in your competitive space, current trends and overall health of your industry. We also like to talk to people, starting with the founders and stakeholders of your business. Then we like to get into the psychological mindset of your existing/prospective customers. All of this happens before we put pen to paper or mouse to pad and start designing. 

STEP 2 - ForEcasting and Strategic Recommendations

Measure twice, cut once. Armed with insights from internal, external and industry data, we re-examine the project goals and make strategic recommendations that fall in line with your business goals. We put together a detailed project plan that becomes our roadmap for success.

STEP 3 - Creative, Design & Implementation  

When it comes time to do creative, the right solution almost designs itself. This happens because we took the guess work out of by front-loading our process with detailed research and measured data. We know going into the creative phase where to invest our time and efforts, what we should be doubling-down on and what we should abandon. 


STEP 4 - Measure & Manage

You can't manage what you can't measure. At SCG, we use proprietary analytic tools to measure the results of the marketing initiatives we implement. Results are analysed and modifications are made to the course as needed.
